The superior quality of Brâncoveanu XO Vinars was tested by specialists from the International Taste Institute in Brussels and rewarded with the Superior Taste Award with 2 stars, a certification given to food and beverages who have undergone a positive taste assessment by a group of world-class chefs and sommelier.

Brâncoveanu Vinars XO was appreciated by the jury: this is a great product with a powerful aromatic richness. A very balanced brandy that looks attractive and inviting. An impressive brandy with aromas of candied fruit and vanilla. The alcohol is well integrated, creating a long, persistent, and sweet finish.”

Founded in 2005, the International Taste Institute is made up of more than 20 enthusiastic food and beverage fans of 14 nationalities. They are joined by more than 200 of the best chefs and sommelier in the world, highlighted by chef and sommelier competitions or by top institutions such as Le Guide Michelin and Gault & Millau, to evaluate the hundreds of products that reach them annually.

The tasting process takes place blindly and in complete silence. Chefs and sommelier only know the category to which the tested product belongs. Each product is evaluated according to the 5 international criteria for hedonic sensory analysis - first impression, sight, smell, taste, and texture (for food) or final sensation (for drinks).
